Larger than expected, not a problem! Heats up quickly and keeps glue a just the right consistency to not be too stringy but liquid enough to pick up on say a tooth pick for application. Thought it might be a fail but pleasantly surprised at how practical it is compared to a glue gun. Both have their uses but I'm pretty certain that from now on this will get more use than the glue gun as most of the time when I'm using a glue gun I'm actually letting it drain out and picking it up on other tools, then am left throwing a giant blob away, with this you just let it cool and its ready to go next time. Good buy, A++
