I purchased one of these along with a 48V 3A power supply to feed it. I mounted it into an aluminium enclosure with the control unit mounted in the front panel. I wound 48V supply up to 55V so DPS-5015 can supply up to 50V. Pros: Works great and can supply 12V at 10A. Regulation is <50mV and ripple is about 40mVp-p at 65kHz. There is a 150mV spike for a microsecond every 15us but that should be able to be filtered out with a good output capacitor. Cons: 1. Does not save some M1 and M2 settings. M0 is OK. I need to set it to cut-out if power exceeded 150W (48V supply limit) in all modes but it wont save it. 2. When you select V, it always goes to 10mV adjustment increments. You have to press knob every time to advance it in 0.1V or 1V steps. It should stay at previous setting. 3. Should NOT auto cancel "V" or "I" after 5 seconds. It should remain in that mode indefinately or until another button pressed. Overall impression -- Its a great supply.
