While this cable has the BAOFENG label on it it is not the current cable shipped from BAOFENG with a FTDI chip. This cable took so long to get to me that I purchased from another dealer and that cable works flawless. This one upon plugging into my computer doesn't work with any built in driver to my computer. I'm reluctant to install another driver when there have been a lot of complaints that the cables won't work no matter how much you fuss with them if they are not picked up by default on your computer as a FTDI chip cable.
