These gloves worked great in dry conditions up until about -2C. Beyond that you may find them inadequately insulated. They are not waterproof, but the material dries quickly if wet. At first they worked great, but after multiple wet/dry cycles the touchscreen pads lost their effectiveness and using phone became difficult. If you keep them dry they will work great, but if you plan to constantly wash them or get them wet, you may want to try something else.
