When i tried to remove a PLCC-chip it almost destroyed my PLCC-socket and chip, pins on the side of the PLCC-chip were bent and so on, destroying my chip almost, it will not grab the chips very good that are in the PLCC-sockets, just use a screw driver is MUCH saver then this bad made device.
