It arrived in good condition without any damage. I think it is a good deal for the price and it definitely works quite well. I tried a few slides and was positively surprised after seeing the details under all 3 magnifications. It is made from plastic and the focusing screw could be more robust but it is ok if you are not touching the microscope while viewing.

This microscope proved to be a geed choice for general inspection of many specimens. This came with many all ready mounted specimens and a number of other items that will make your use of the microscope a pleasure. The microscope it self is a quality instrument and not a toy. It should promote a lot of interest in the art of scientific investigation.

Color was black, made of plastic. Real magnification is 10x, 40x and 90x (said on the box). There is no led - it's small lamp, overall good for kids..
