This is a great mini PC for the price of 260 USD that I paid for it (after applying a coupon). It is not perfect, but it is value for money nevertheless. The size surprised me, I knew it was small, but I did not fully understand how small it was until I was holding it in my hand. Impressive to say the least. The build quality is also excellent, solid metal case except for the plastic sides for the wifi antennas. Screws for the HDD, the case lid and the SSD are included in the box. But the VESA mount is not included, although the case has the necessary holes for it. The power limit out of the box is set to 25W which allows the CPU to sustain continuously only about 2.4 Ghz on all 4 cores. But this can be changed using Intel's XTU (installed with a workaround to skip the platform check error, google it). The included charger is rather weak 19V 2.1A (40W) and allows the CPU to sustain a maximum of about 3 Ghz on all 4 cores after changing the power settings. The charger can be easily replaced with any standard laptop charger of greater power. The most I was able to get out of this configuration, using a separate 3.4A charger (65W), was 3.3 Ghz sustained on all 4 cores, which is quite smaller than the 4.6 Ghz that this CPU is rated for. It would probably go higher with the supplied cooler before thermal throttling, but it won't because of a BIOS current limit, that cannot be overridden with the XTU software. As CONS I would consider first the fan noise, which is rather loud and annoying, much more so than a standard laptop fan. It gets to over 62 dB at full load and cannot be ignored. This is not a mini PC you can leave running with heavy tasks in your bedroom at night. In idle the fan doesn't spin at all sometimes. Another con would be the LAN port lights and the front on/off LED, which are way too bright and can light up the room at night. Also the SATA3 connector is a proprietary 9 pin. The USB-C port does not support video-out.

Solid build quality. Installation of SSD and RAM was easy. Good performance while fan noise is very acceptable, mostly inaudible. Only downside is that a regular EU power cable was supplied, and not the necessary 'Mickey mouse' style

Nice looking little mini pc with fast & energy efficient intel i7-8565U. Setup was easy and I installed windows 10 using 2X8 gigs of ram, a ssd m2 128 giga and a sata Western Digital Blue 1TB (2.5") without problems. It supports 4k at 60HZ using hdmi port or display port but usb-c doesn’t support ‘DisplayPort over USB C’ which means that you cannot connect monitor through usb-c. NVISEN Y-MU01 Mini PC performs well but it operates at +15 degrees Celsius (ºC) hotter than my Intel NUC Kit NUC8i3BEH (a similar barebone to nvisen) and throttles 3% according to AIDA64 which thing might have negative effect in the longevity of the mini pc. Another major problem is the weak signal reception of the ‘intel dual band wireless ac 3165’ which is 12 decibels weaker than my other laptops. Practically you have to be in the same room with the router to establish Wi-Fi connection which is unacceptable. Also, there is no official support, as far as I know. There are no bios updates and only generic intel drivers are provided. For example, bios update could address problems like thermal management and boost wi-fi reception and also could provide better sata drivers than the generic drivers from Microsoft. Conclusion. Nice interesting little pc with poor implementation.

Very nice product. Fast delivery, all parts included. If you plan to use both HDD, be careful to buy NVME SSD without heatsink as it can occupy space necessary for SATASSD.

Purchased for server tinkering and testing. Attempting to install as hypervisor host: - Xen KO (pb when loading installer) - VMware esxi 6.7 (functional but unrecognized NIC). Currently used to make Kubernetes (Ubuntu 20.01 and microk8s), works perfectly like this.

Really a cute PC, I use with 250GB nvm-e and 2x16GB of DDR-4 RAM, works like a charm, the fan is a bit annoying and the cpu run a bit hotter than usual, the cooling management is not so well engineered, not sure it is very correct for the internal components longevity (interior 78°C and more !). My final usage is a Linux workstation, FreeCAD / Cura / LTSPICE and some C/Java/PHP/Python developments running several Virtual Machines (debian on Virtualbox). Ubuntu 20.04 as a host OS is perfectly stable on it.
