I am a gaming player and use full screen on my 34"monitor, so therefore, I am unable to see the clock on my computer. I purchased the unit for the time and also the temperature, as the computer puts out a lot of heat when seriously gaming. The 18mm numbers are easy to read, even without my glasses. There is no backlight so the area must be well lit. From what I have checked, the time and the temperature are very accurate. The unit sit directly under my monitor for easy viewing. I personally prefer 24hr clock but hey, if its dark its PM, if its light it is AM. Enjoy.
