Seems like it will be ok for light duty clearing of brush, but not big enough for 'trees'. That said, i'm not sure its really much better than a small reciprocating saw with a good wood blade, and a lot more scary. But if you dont have one of those, it will get the job done. With the one i got, the charger supply would not fit into the battery, but assuming they are makita clones ( they look like it ), it should be easy to get a replacement charger here locally. I will have to do that now that both batteries are dead.
