My older ER16 holder accepted the collet as a straight drop in. This collet holder and nut requires the collet to be inclined approximatey 20-30 degrees before it drops into the clamping nut. When I discovered this all went well and the runout on my mini mill was very acceptable at .0005 inches. I would suggest that this information be included in your product description.
