Fill with diesel fuel, connect to a 12v DC supply, connect inlet and exhaust pipes and it will start up. If the unit has to stand on the ground it must be screwed onto two wooden blocks to allow the flexy exhaust and inlet pipes to bend through ninety degrees. An inlet silencer is included but not one for the exhaust and there is a roar. Look for another combo if the silencer is needed or buy separately. OK to heat a shed, a van or a workshop but 8kw output doubtful. ps . . exhaust pipe gets mighty hot so that may have been included in the calculations . . With a little ingenuity that could be used to heat water or oil. Runs a long time on a litre of fuel.
It came quick end is wery god, i love it, i order to more
I'm so pleased with this heater that I bought another. They are supposed to be the same item, but clearly being made in different factories to their own standards, different controllers, heat engine, accessories, etc. No way that heat output is 8KW as claimed, more like 5KW, but still a useful amount of heat for my workshop. The clicking of the fuel pump is quite noticeable. So far, working reliably. The remote controller battery is not provided. A27 battery (12V) is needed. Remote range seems to be a couple of metres.
Great little heater, the only point I would make is that there is no info on which battery you need for the remote. I bought MN21 (£5.00 for two) and they don`t fit , 10mm round you need a battery thats only 8mm round (LS27). The heater kicks out some good heat, and is quieter than I expected.
unit works OK but the manual is very difficult to understand & the remote battery is not supplied & is a strange one to find. There is nothing on the remote or in the manual that says what battery is required. The unit was very badly packaged & had significant damage to the casing & frame. Delivery was very quick.
ok
Arrived quickly. Looks good. Have not had a chance to test
working good.....remote dont work.....but happy anyway
Excellent unit for heating the garage for the winter, the very thing. the exhaust can be discharged through the dural radiator will be an additional heat transfer plus to the released heat. at start consumes up to 10A then the current drops to 2-3A. Overall very satisfied with the unit.
good machine - poor manual- odd battery required for remote not included.
