I tested this device on CW Player 5.2.6 freeware, with the 1/8-inch (3mm) provided cable connecting the "CW_IN" and my laptop audio-out, with the CW Player v5.5.6 sound level is set at 0 dB, the pitch at default 800 Hz, and my laptop line-level audio-out is set at about 20%. Note: Use only 1/8-inch (3mm) stereo plugs with the HU-069B device, never mono plugs. The pin-out for the Morse code HU-069B input jack is: common, with the tip and middle connected, so a paddle Morse code key will not work with this device. Oddly, the HU-069B CW Morse Code Decoder USB will not decode with HU-069B earphone/audio-out "CW_OUT CON2" plugged in while decoding Morse code, either key or audio. The SW1 button quick-push toggles CW CODE:ON / CW CODE:OFF, and the SW1 button long-push toggles BEEP:ON/BEEP/OFF, but I have yet to get the HU-069B beeper to work, although the red LED2 does flash when the Morse code key is pressed. The SW2 button long-push displays "CW Time: 0100ms" time interval which I leave as the default. The SW3 button quick-push toggles "000 char/min" to display your Morse code key characters per minute practice speed, and the SW3 button long-push clears the display. I just ordered another HU-069B CW Morse Code Decoder USB, as I feel that matched HU-069B CW Morse Code Decoder USB devices, over FRS 2-way walkie-talkies for this setup to work. Stay posted.
