Beautiful and stable DIY clock which I ever made. I have spent approx 2 hr to complete this kit. did some mistakes but finally got success. working perfectly on a single attempt. small microcontroller was having some challange to solder for beginners. but using air soldering gun anyone can solder easily. document was well and easily explained. I really like this kit. I will order same kit again as soon as possible that was a lots of fun and learning.

  • OGHagen I have this kit laying around. I have not started assembly yet as the tiny pitch of the square chip is a challenge. You hot aired soldered that? I have several kinds of flux and solder paste in syringes, but not a electric hot air gun. I have a butane soldering iron kit with sort of a tube attachment tip. Is that what you used? In picture 8 the area around the chip looks kind of scorched. Why is that?
