I bought this for a project in Nov 2019, but did not use it. Unpacked today to check and find I can only get 4 volts max output, regardless of input voltage. A close inspection reveals a hairline crack across the main IC. Shouldn't have happened in transit as it was well packed. More likely to have happened during manufacture. Just a word of warning - check electronics as soon as they arrive. This is the second item I have had that is faulty. Eric
