The microscope works very well for me and it does what I expected. Only the tripod is a weekness; it is all but not stable. I think for the price it is OK and I have to do a little homeword to make it more stable and heavier. Over all I would recommend this item.

A very good overall microscope, but with two small problems:_1. Good zooming, but one cannot know the exact magnification at any time._2. Not good for transparent (backlighting) plates without some additional improvised device_
