Got this to run LED string that's too bright at 12v. Works very well for that. Mine goes a few tenths of a volt past 12v at the high end, and doesn't go down quite to 3v at the low end. Only minor problem I can see is that the change in voltage is not at all linear as you turn the pot - most of the sweep is from 10 to 12v. If you need to set an accurate low voltage it could be an issue. If you are dimming a 12v LED strip like I am, this is perfect.
