I've been looking to buy a stand mixer for years. The big name brands are all so expensive. This one is reasonably priced. I didn't need all the fancy add-ons of the name brands that blew up the price to triple the price of this one. The body and bowl of this unit are well made, they feel just like the name brands ones. Within hours of receiving the unit, I made angel food cake and bread. The machine seems pretty powerful. I only needed to use 2-3 power out of 10 to make the angel food cake and bread. They both came out very well. I'm very happy with the purchase.
