I had to loosen the screws and adjust the Track guide to get a good fit, but once adjusted using a machinst square for alignment, the guide connects to the track well and gives a perfect 90 degree cut. The 90 degree connection has been repeatable so far with the times I have removed and replaced. I like the milled recess on the left side of adapter to proves a shelf that sits on top of the wood to keep the tack from twisting. The recessed area is amble for a track clamp to secure the rail. I am happy with the product, but you should expect to have a need to tweak the alignment for initial setup.
