Good compact lamp, but it could be brighter, not always bright enough for close up technical work, but for general reading/writing it is okay. Bending to change position/angle is a good idea but some angles are inconvenient as the light will not be balanced and fall over, so there is actually only a small range of angle you can use. It looks smart, and the rubber on the bottom part keeps it from sliding around.
