Very nice but label on the pin are not viewable... Here's the pin out for helping you! plate facing front: Left: Ground middle: volt Right: Dq(data) And of course the 4k7 is allready added for the Dq

Pros: Quite easy to figure out without any documentation, all the pins are either well-labeled or obvious. Good quality for the price. Also it is really small so it could be hidden if you wanted to. Cons: None that I can think of... Work right away and compatible with arduino, mbed and all kind of other mircocontroller boards. I don't have any cons till now and I can not think of any. Especially for this price!!! Other: Easy to interface to my Arduino, good deal. I will recommend this to friends.

Grazie alla tecnologia onewire questo sensore può essere interfacciato perfettamente a qualsiasi controllore. Perfetto e preciso.

The pin layout was already posted a few comments ago but I will mention it once more: "-" is GND, the middle pin (without marking) is + and "S" is for connection/communication. I used the OneWire library in combination with the DallasTemperature library and a small test programm. So far everything works.

Could have chosen only the sensor but needed to make a (solder less) point. Checked the PCB and read the comments. So to add to it.... It is well constructed, no bad soldering. As for strange pinout, i can see the purpose. This pcb was made to be a general purpose sensor board. Pinout is simply the same for all sensors based on this board. The "-" designates GND. The middle is " + " and "S" would probably mean "signal". The extra holes are to standardize pinout so "signal" goes to one side. It was not meant for adding own parts (beware, it swaps pins). One thing that does bother me is the inconsistency in quality as picture and someone else mentioned a 4K7 resistor. My "version" has a 1K resistor and LED instead of 4K7. Also if chaining more sensors one needs to keep only one. A jumper with 4k7 in series would have been much better than this LED with 1K resistor. [Could become a current problem]. At the moment it will do for development/test purposes.
