This mechanism is a waste of time. A tide mechanism should have a cycle time of 12hrs 25 minutes to coincide with lunar day of 24:50. This mechanism has a cycle of 12 hours, e.g. it is a normal clock mechanism and is no use for predicting tides.. Supplying a clock with a single hand does not make it a tide mechanism, avoid! Gets one star because i cant give zero!
