DIY A-19 Smart RC Robot Tracked Car Chassis Tank Kits For Raspberry Pi
A part of the review has been auto-translated.
I bought this chassis to make a robotic / RC camera platform and the quality of the manufacture is abysmal. Most of the parts hadn't been deburred after machining leaving a lot of rough sharp edges, the axles for the idler wheels vary in diameter between 5.4 to 5.8 mm with the holes in the idler wheels being 6 mm making for a very sloppy fit and the worst part is the machining on the drive wheels and the motor connectors. There is between 2 to 3mm run out on each wheel where nothing is concentric to where it should be, at first I thought it was just the motor connectors that were non concentric but after machining some new connectors myself I found that the centre holes in the drive wheels are not centred at all making the run out even worse with some truly concentric motor connectors. There were even a few M3 nuts included in the kit that didn't even have threads cut in them, I only discovered this after trying to screw one onto one of the screws for a couple of minutes. For the price of this kit I expected a lot better, as it is the only reasonable bit of the kit is the main part of the chassis. I have a video on Youtube of the run out on the drive wheels at their best at https://youtu.be/uuI_jIWr7sM
Nice chassis, it could be improved by adding more mounting surfaces/holes. The pieces are quite rough and can have some cutting debris, so be careful when mounting.
