I bought this for hooking up prototype circuits on perf board like Banggood's #1089476. The roll is a bit untidy, with all 8 colours wound together, but that's not a problem if you are happy to use any colour at any time, and in short lengths. I worried a bit about how to strip it, because it is *very* fine. Then as I was trying my various tools I discovered I can simply pull off insulation using a thumb nail as a stripper.
