After trying several cheap chinese UV flashlight i decided to spend a little more. Shipping was great, i even got tracking which i didnt pay for and it came five days earlier than tracking stated. The packaging was ok. The flashlight has a tight hotspot and a lot of much weaker spill around, it can throw quite well and lights up about a 20cm radius from 1,5m distance brightly, in the dark the spill lights up glowing things well too but not nearly as good as the hotspot. The wavelength seems to really be 365 nm as stated, it lights up much more than any of the cheap lights and has much less purple visible light. (sorry for the bad photo it is not easy to také in the dark) while using it it heats up but to no uncomfortable temperatures. I used it a lot for about three days with the 3400 mAh Olight battery and it didnt run out of power. It is definately worth the 20$ i paid, it picks up dust, all the hidden bank note marks and a ton of stains i dont dare to say what they are. With the cheap UV lights i though my bathroom was clean... well it wasnt.. at all.. Now that i can see everything, my bathroom has never been this clean before
My local UV light and UV light stones expert: www.colorgems.nl says this is the best LED for 365 NM UV-A. I tried the cheaper Leuchtturm AV-A / UV-C light. But the Leuchtturm has a much weaker UV-A light. The UV-C TL tube 4W is nice thought. Althought 4W UV tube is still a bit too weak. It's just enough for looking at the UV colored stones. Convoy s2+ is made sturdy and easy to maintain it seems if you need to change some parts. I am very happy with this purchase! To further improve this light, you can install a filter to block even more visible light: 365nm UV Flashlight Visible Filter Lens (Banggood). I included pictures how to change the glass. Just use 2 size 5 hex keys as in picture, then you can twist the LED out of the aluminium casing. The same way you can put the LED and new filter back into each other.
