Metal license plate holder/bracket is heavy duty steel. No issues with quality there. The light appears to be of good quality too. I won't be installing the light on my bike for a bit, so I don't know if it in fact works or not. The packaging really sucked though. They came wrapped in a small, thin piece of foam inside a plastic bag. Good thing it wasn't fragile.
