To get to the point; this isn't a 'pure bone conduction' headset. Which judging by the price point did not come as a surprise, as it's about 1/6 of the price of the industry leading tech. Sound leakage is practically 90%, so you get to hear everything even if the buds aren't touching your head, which makes me question as to how much bone conducting is being done, but judging by the price point did not come as a surprise. The microphone in mine is a strong 3/10, on a good day, so I cannot recommend it for calls. HOWEVER; this IS a functioning, headset with a sound quality equivalent to any other make in this 20something dollar price-range, with a good enough battery life, fairly water resistant case, while being an OPEN EAR design. So price/value rating is 5/5, You get what you are accustomed to get for this amount of money AND a working open ear design. It is never going to be a studio headset, it cannot handle strong bass in any meaningful way, but you get to wear it without obstructing your ears and it's secure while cycling or running and I had 6+ hours of continuous music and podcasts out of it.
