This is the best Baofeng I own. It has good output power from 136-174MHz and 400-520MHz. The power for 200-260MHz is good enough for radio to radio but may be a little weak for a repeater unless youre close by. This is the most powerful UV5R style Baofeng Radio I own. Achieving over 9W on some frequencies! Very good. I ordered a second one,hoping it is similar in power. The antenna is as expected. It performs ok on 400-480 but not as well on 136-174MHz and poorly on 200-260MHz. I would suggest buying an ABBREE antenna to maximize the hidden potential of this radio. I checked the power on many frequencies and have uploaded the results. Be advised that the performance from one radio to another varies in this lineup. So your results may be different. I heard one customer on YouTube say his radio was able to achieve over 7w on 200-260MHz.
