This thing actually works. All you need to do is make sure you have new CR2032 batteries inserted, the ones that come with the lock are old. Included on the retail package are English instructions, follow them and you can make this work by storing fingerprints. These fingerprints are not deleted by removing and reinserting the batteries, the only problem you'll run into is you can't get the lock to open until you replace the dead batteries. Replacing the batteries is easy, you'll need a small needle to pry open that small cover after you've twisted it.

item is as described and finger enrolment was easy. The 2xCR2032 batteries it came with were both dead anyway.
