This is a very good product. The LM1875 amplifiers are well known and produce good sound. The power supply capacitors provided in the kit a Nichicon good quality and resistors are metal film. Even the lesser components from unknown brands are of good quality. The heatsink is well calculated and the kit comes complete except for the AC transformer. Worked the first time. The tubes are connected as grounded cathodes and thus actually amplify the sound. The tubes supplied, a 6N1 Chinese pentode, were used and one of them totally worn out, but still worked even at low voltages. I upgraded all caps and resistors in the signal path and replaced the tubes with 6AK5 units. With a small change in the filament supply replacing the limiting resistor by a current source, which by the way eliminates the background hum, one can use several different pentodes like the more common 6AU6. Result is above expectations, Highly recommended.

Several parts were missing, about six parts were damaged, fortunately the tubes were not broken, otherwise fine.
