These are really nice, and they provide a stable power source at 3V3 and 5V. However, the switch does not appear to have any effect on the power supplied on the solder pads. As such, I'm not sure the undercurrent protection works when using those. I'm using protected 18650 batteries so I don't really care.

Received early and well packaged, each in it's own static-free bag. Will be using to power some microcontrollers for various projects. Other reviews are correct that switch only turns USB port on/off. You can see that if you follow the tracks on the PCB. (Tip -You should be looking closely and inspecting all new electronic items you use.) The unit looks to be very well made and all components are soldered well and clearly labeled. The way I anticipate using them will not require a base, but you may consider it for cramped spaces or applications that require it to be moved a great deal, knocked around, or if the unit will be exposed to high humidity. The various outputs accept header pins easily. Great value for money if you get 5 unit package. Very happy and satisfied!

Already bought five units over four months ago. They all work great, for Arduino projects, led lights, a quick 3.3v / 5v power supply using a single 18650 Samsung 30Q flat top battery. Two drawbacks, 1. SMD components on the bottom of the PCB can be shorted out and get broken off, so you need to add a base plate. A thin piece of wood of plastic. 2. Flat top batteries have a hard time making a good electrical connection. A. need to bend the battery contacts in towards the battery compartment or, B. add a 4x2mm disk magnet to the positive end of the battery or, C. or solder a small brass washer to the positive end of the battery or, D. use button top 18650 batteries. This will help a lot in making the dc to dc step up buck converter more reliable.
