The ADC on this board has four input channels and has 16 bits of resolution. It also has a programmable gain amplifier. It is possible to measure four analog voltages (with reference to ground) or two differential analog inputs. The converter interfaces to a micro-controller via a I2C bus. It can be set for several different I2C addresses allowing multiple ADS1115 devices on the same bus. The device has an internal reference voltage source and a programmable comparator so that you can automatically detect a specific voltage condition without continuous polling. The ADC is fairly fast and can convert at up to 860 measurements per second. This board is compatible with drivers that can be found on many arduino and other SBC sites. Just google for ADS1115 driver.

ADS1115 are not always the most reliable devices, i have managed to destroy a few however they are still excellent value for money and their accuracy is brilliant static handling procedures are strongly recommended when working with these devices
