Very practical circuit, low price. Can be used as universal power supply, thanks to constant voltage and constant current mode. Measured values are at Vout 12V / 2A. Minimum input-output voltage difference : 3V , output ripple: 400mVss, ripple frequency : looks more like 195kHz than 300Hz. Output residual frequency spectrum: up to 2.5MHz. (as usual with SPS, so not recommended for radio amateurs equipment)

The module looks well made, well assembled but there is a problem with the actual CC CV setting. The board doesn't allow alway a constant current / constant voltage output, even when I choose an output voltage close to input value, so very small Vin=24V/Vout=23V step down ratio. For example, when certain current/voltage value is set (i.e: 23V and 1.5A), once I increase the load (variable) and the load current increases over the set current, the voltage drops always at around 8.5v. Normaly I expect the board to allow keeping the voltage and the current constant when the load varies. I had simpler cc/cv step down modules with Lm2596 and worked well, keeping the set voltages and current values. I notice that the board worked well only when I tried to charge a 5s li-ion pack at 21v and 1.8A.
