Good an silent stepper driver. Works fine as Stand-Allone. But since you don't know if you get v2 or v3, i would recommend the BIGTREETECH TMC2209 V1.2 if you want use UART mode.

easy to hook up to my skr pro just jumper the rx tx pin together and set the jumper on the board to uart mode few mods to merlin by setting driver type in configuration to TMC2209 (not standalone) and it works to view settings add the type M122 in your pc software serial control you'll have all your settinggs displayed change them in code or on your printer display (configuration , adance configuration tmc settings)
