These little units seem to work fine. However be aware that they produce no output untli the input is about 18v. That means that if your solar panel is not producing over 18v there will be no battery charging going on at all. Above 18v they produce a steady 13.6v. I don't know how much current they can supply under best conditions. My solar panel only provided 18v or more under very bright conditions so I put a Boost module between the solar panel and the MPPT unit. That boosted the voltage up to

Work well but does not have battery discharge protection. I exploded one already as I was setting it up the input wire touch and the mosfet and resistor went up in smoke. Be careful when installing I highly suggest a protection diode at the output.
