IMHO, it seemed a bit oversized for the camera female connection. It was quite difficult to push into the female connector. Also, the centre hole is bigger than the centre pin of the receiver female so contact is not made and the camera did not operate. It probably would be operational if a male and female (both from this supplier) connector were wired in. In my case, I am not wiring the camera, only connecting the pre-existing female to the power connector. The connector is in a circuit from a solar powered 12 volt battery bank. For me, in my application it's a fail.
