The enable input on this board is active high. Add a pullup resistor and then take it low to disable the board temporarily. The potentiometer on this board is impossible for fine adjustments, just like many other boards. Ugh. Once I got close to 5v output (5.3-5.37v, fluctuating all the time) I started testing. Testing with 7v input: 20mA @5.35v, 100mA @5.19v, 200mA @5.04v, 300mA @4.86v, 400mA @4.7v, 500mA @4.54v, 750mA @4.25v, 1A @4.1v, 1.4A @3.8v Note that I couldn't get to 1.5A testing with the 7v input as the output voltage collapsed. Testing with 12v input (I had to change the potentiometer setting to get back to 5v from an increase to 6v output as I increased the input voltage to 12v): 20mA @5.15v, 100mA @5.1v, 200mA @5.07v, 300mA @5.02v, 400mA @4.98v, 500mA @4.94v, 750mA @4.9v, 1A @4.8v, 1.5A @4.5v, 1.75A @ 4.5v, 2A @4.4v (very hot) 12v performance wasn't too bad. I'd avoid using lower input voltages.
