My old mini lathe had been idle for a number of years because the speed controller had stopped working. Because the motor is a 220V DC motor, I had to be able to vary the DC power supply from 0 to 220V to get the whole speed range. This unit enable me to do that. The unit is compact and I was able to fit it onto the old controller box. Thanks!

Very good quality control box for DC motors up to 400W. It is very compact and made out of good quality materials. The potentiometer control is smooth and very responsive giving an exellent speed range. It also has connections for another on off switch unit. Recommended in every way.
