The 20x magnifying glass is optically identical to 10x magnifying. Real magnification about is the same: about 5x

panosr realmagnification looks more like 2x (checked it by looking on a piece of checkerboard paper). Probably the manufacturers of this confuse the magnification with the focal distance. But never mind, this is a good quality lens, perfect for the intended use.
