works great, amazing price for a 4 jaw chuck. Bear in min though that the smallest thing you can fit in it is about 2mm, and for small sizes you do not have full flexibility to move it around. This is easily solved by making an adapter depending on your specific part. Easy to do since you have a lathe already if you buy this. If you are worried about finding the correct thread etc, there is an easier solution, which is just to use your own lathes chuck to hold on to this chuck. It worked great for me, and also gives a really quick way to change to 4 jaw. Only downside I think, is that the material does not seem to be very strong or that the tolerances are not ideal, so when I tighten the chuck screws really hard, it feels like as if I am very close to breaking the threads. Another thing is that the jaws are a bit slippery, so you need to tighten it really hard. But I managed to get more friction by applying some polishing compound or similar with rough grains between the workpeice and the jaws. This increased friction alot, and solved my problems. It works fine, but bear in mind it is a low quality chuck. But for this price you would expect that, and I therefore give 5 stars.
