This has been thoroughly tested & its very nearly as good as the genuine Makita grinder which costs 4x the price! The ultimate test was cleaning very rusty steel with a cup wire brush, a difficult test for a corded grinder never mind a cordless. It managed this no problem & I got 120 square inches cleaned back to clean metal before the 5Ah battery ran out. To get the best out of it you need at least 5Ah batteries, that gives it nearly as much power as a 230v grinder.
