The modules come on a foam pad to protect the lower leads from bending (pic). They're individually packed in an antistatic bag. Each rail has two connectors, this is useful if you have one of those cheap, long breadboards with discontinuous power rails (pic). I tested one module with a 9V battery and a USB power source, all outputs are working and have the right voltage.

Units look nice, well made, but 1st one I used turned out to provide 12V instead of the selected 5V. Result: an LCD display went up in smoke... The powersupply used (12V) turned out to supply 15V, so that may have caused the 5V regulator to go faulty and deliver the input straight to the output. Lesson learnt: be careful with the selection of input, make sure it's not above the 12V. Would be nice if an input protection would be added to the unit, to avoid these kind of issues.
