This is a great I2C OLED display which arrived in one piece from China to Budapest, Hungary. The rotary encoder switch was fully damaged in the package but this one had a good foam pacgage which has protected it along his way to me. Simply operable with Arduino Nano etc. using the I2C pins A5 and A5. For testing I have used the u8glib library and an example code and just removed the comment from the beginning of this line: U8GLIB_SSD1306_128X64 u8g(U8G_I2C_OPT_NONE|U8G_I2C_OPT_DEV_0); // I2C / TWI It works properly at first without any issues.

The price is pretty good compared to other vendors selling I2C only versions of SSD1306. This display worked out of the box with Luma.OLED on the CHIP SBC. SPI is way faster than I2C. I wired the display directly to the CHIP. It works with every Arduino

Very easy to connect to I2C and to drive thanks to many libraries. Fast response to drawing lines. Perfect for small and efficient display for wireless devices. Note : There is no accentuated character sets.

I am using this device in my R/C aircraft projects. It is being used as voltage meter, tachometer, temperature sensor etc. As it requires only two wires (I2C) I am able to use it with the Attiny85 processor. Of course there are no good libraries for Attiny but I can display digits using self created bitmap fonts. Pros: Small package. Good for portable devices. Low power consumption. I2C Interface reducing necessary ports Cons: No reset connection. Contrast may not be sufficient under daylight conditions.

Przepiękny wyświetlacz. Bardzo dobra czytelność. Niski pobór prądu , można zasilać go prosto z pinu mikro kontrolera. Polecam
